Skilled Care Pharmacy makes continuing education easy, convenient and affordable

 

We understand that you want to manage a top notch long-term care or assisted living facility that provides the best possible care for your residents. At Skilled Care Pharmacy, we believe that excellence in care begins with excellence in training and continuing education.

 

Convenience for you and your staff starts with our extensive list of on-site, in-service offerings, many of which can be scheduled within your workday, at your own facility. In addition to our extensive list of prepared programs, we offer custom programming to cover exactly the topics you need to keep nurses and other staff up-to-date with their knowledge and skill sets.

 

We believe in easy access to non-traditional classroom learning through CDs, DVDs, Web-based resources and self-instructional educational programs, in addition to a well-stocked “lending” library of videos and periodicals.

 

Additional services offered by our experienced staff of educators include our Pharmacological Update Seminar Series, LPN IV Certification Program, PREP Nurse Aide Mentor Program and SMARTT (Self-Medication Awareness and Responsibility Through Training) program, geared to help your residents better manage medications on their own.

 

Skilled Care Pharmacy also makes available an extensive library of educational videos and periodicals and provides access to many online learning opportunities for all facility staff members.

 

Skilled Care Pharmacy (HA-01P4) is approved as a provider of continuing education by the Ohio Board of Nursing through the Approver at the Health Alliance (OBN-007-92).
