Tells Us More About Quaker Heights Community Care
Quaker Heights Care Community seeks to understand and respect the needs of each resident by talking honestly about the services available, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing ,and Memory Care. Since its beginnings in 1904, the Quaker Heights Care Community has grown from a boarding home to a 30-bed Assisted Living and a 98-bed Medicare and Medicaid certified facility offering short term and respite care, comprehensive restorative care to help residents regain their full potential, and long term skilled nursing services. Quaker Heights offers a designated memory care unit that provides a calm, gentle, and supportive environment. There is also an independent living option for those residents who have an active lifestyle but need an affordable housing option. All of these offerings are guided by our core Quaker principles of integrity, equality, harmony, and simplicity.
What Is Something Special You Would Like Us To Know About Your Facility Or Your Staff?
At Quaker Heights Care Community, all are treated with dignity - respecting “there is that of God in each of us”. Our philosophy values independence and choice. No matter your preference or need, we provide an environment which allows for individual decisions based on reverence for self-determination. This social atmosphere draws on the skills and unique experiences each of us bring to campus life. The holistic approach reflects the concept of a single human family whose members are equally important and equally connected. We believe this can bring the peace of mind that comes with knowing advanced care is available on campus if ever needed.

There are times within a work day that a Quaker Heights employee will take the extra time to make a difference in the lives of a resident or family member. These moments are defined as mission moments and they happen every minute of every hour of every day at Quaker Heights. They are expressions of genuine human kindness that transcend into the day-to-day routine of care. They are the demonstrations of “love made visible by service” and each moment is captured and shared at the beginning of each monthly board meeting.
