LARRY GALLUZZO, R.PH.

Larry graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Pharmacy. After graduation, he was employed by a long-term care pharmacy for a few years before becoming Manager.

In 1981 he started Skilled Care Pharmacy in a small office. Growth has necessitated moving to larger quarters four times.

Larry has long been an advocate for long-term care pharmacy and the respect and dignity of residents. His active membership in The American Society of Consultant Pharmacy (ASCP) and The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) has led him to Washington, DC, making many appearances in front of Congressional sub-committees educating our lawmakers on the many services and advantages to long term care pharmacy, and the vital role pharmacists play as consultants in medication management for our elderly.

His membership in organizations such as the American Health Care Association, LeadingAge and The American College of Health Care Administrators has helped these organizations better understand the value pharmacists bring to their communities.

Over the years Skilled Care has been recognized as one of the top businesses in the community, and as a Top Workplace as recently as 2022.
